Customer purpose comes first
Monitoring begins with the customer's business, active competitors, markets, and decision priorities. A submitted competitor or URL creates a review request; it does not automatically authorize collection.
Public access only
SKAI is designed for publicly accessible business information. It does not sign into third-party accounts, bypass paywalls or access controls, defeat technical restrictions, or obtain private data. Collection may be limited or stopped based on source rules, law, technical safety, or operational review.
Bounded whole-site coverage
For an approved active competitor, SKAI may use public site maps and relevant same-site links to identify public HTML pages connected to the customer's monitoring purpose. This is controlled coverage, not unrestricted crawling. Request rates, response sizes, redirects, network destinations, file types, and retention are bounded.
Removal means removal
Only a customer's current active competitors and approved resources are eligible for future collection. When a competitor or resource is removed, it is excluded from future fetching and current reporting. Historical evidence and audit records may remain to preserve an accurate prior record.
Evidence remains distinct from judgment
SKAI preserves what was observed, when it was collected, and how it changed. Interpretation, Confidence, score, ranking, recommendation, and human review remain separate. Human overrides add context without destroying the original algorithmic output.
Private analysis
Customer configuration, collected evidence, reports, and recommendations remain private and authorization-controlled. SKAI does not republish collected third-party content as a substitute for the original source.
